hi all! [8|]

Does anyone know anything about this car http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/138405.htm I saw advertised on the members for sale area as well but I just wondered if anyone had any ideas about it?

I new to the 911 side of things and would like to buy a 964, but as i already have a cayenne family truck on the drive and the 911 has to be used by the wife, this could take a while... so please bear with me whilst I ask loads of questions over the coming weeks and months (although I hope not)

Cheers for any advice

Gary

P.S. What fuel consumption can i expect for motorway driving by the wife??

Looks tidy. Looks like it has a few extras fitted.

Mile per g. I get 22 to 24 on long drives without too much effort. Drops to 22 to 20 on runs with more effort and can be 18 to 20 on local runs.

Good luck and have fun.

I get up to 30mpg at 80-90 down to about 18 round town.

Early engine, you can tell by the ally inlet manifold, so look for leaks, check no freudenburg DMF get a PPI done, and preferably with compression and leakdown test from a reputable indy.
look for rust around front/rear screen, check blower fan works on blue and red dots with no hunting in speed, check for offset stamped by valve on wheels for genuine wheels, and visit Rennlist for upgrade and meet info around cheshire and surrey.
