Advice - Tiptronic? C4?

Hello all,

As prices start to drop in the winter months I'll be after an early 996 Cab for roughly £16k.

I'm only gonna use the car at weekend and I won't simply be thrasing the pants of her!!

My 2 questions are:-

1. Is it worth the extra money to get a Carrera 4?

2. Manual or Tiptronic?

Cheers all!

Mainly agree with previous - that is if C2 had PSM.
But as that's only an option on the C2 most don't seem to have it, it's therefore more difficult to find a C2 that does. The C4 has it as standard fitment.

For everyday driving (partic in our wet climate) PSM is almost as good an asset as ABS.

Is there much of a price premium between C2s and C4s of early vintage?

I actually know someone selling a C4 Cab, manual, for £16500! Full service history, silver with blk. I can find out more if you want!!

Looking for £16500 ono includes a private plate.
Guys name is Akis, 02088840976, based in North London, N18. If your interested, give him a call and mention my name which is Harry. Good Luck!!

C4 Cab with better history for the required amount of £16K? - could be pushing it a bit!

1 = c2, because it has more boot space.
2 = which ever you prefer.
