advice - vibration at around 60Mph

Vibration starta when reach speed of around 60 MPH - feels like something is out of balance. seems to be coming from the rear. I do not get any vibration through the steering but can feel it through the car. Been into porsche - they changed the air con pump (it was starting to seize up). Vibration tends to get less when you reach 80 MPH +. The gearbox was changed a couple of months ago, seemed to coincide with this but cannot be sure. Any ideas ??

Drive the car passed the 80 mph mark (where you say the vibration stops) and then take your foot of the accelerator pedal, depress the clutch in and allow the car to coast and slow down. If the vibration returns in the 80 down to 60 range then I would suggest a wheel is out of balance. May have just lost a weight.
Cheers,

Thanks for the advice - turned out to be worn tyre's not quite at the wear marks but still causing the vibration. Replace with Pirelli P zero's, transfoms the car. By the way if you live in kent RM tyres Strood - rear Pirelli P zero - 17" tyres £121. supplied balanced and fitted.
