Had my 997 for a couple of month now and covered about 500 miles.

two areas of concern which I hope you can help me with.

1, The clutch judders especially in reverse but only when warm, fine when cold, is this normal ?

2, If I turn off the air con (econ) the car mist up within 3 minutes of driving is this normal ?

Any advise would be welcome.

1. Never experienced the clutch judder you describe in either reverse or forward gears, so I'd get it checked out.
2. Yes, that happens to mine especially when conditions are damp, so I always keep the aircon on.

I occasionally experienced clutch judder in my 996 in first and reverse, particularly when pulling away on an up hill gradient with low revs. I initially suspected this may have been because of a worn clutch or even some oil getting onto the clutch plate but I am not sure this was the case because I never had to replace it. However, I found that giving the clutch a good work out - engaging it with plenty of revs - a few times seemed to cure it for a 1000 miles or so.

As previously noted, the misting without the aircon on is quite normal.
