Just how much bling can you get for/on a 912 ? Can't see you running a 'normal' one, after your Cayenne.

Now theres a thought! im off to Halfords to find out[:D]

Is it Rose's car? Not many rhd cars about, I think Nick sold it to Rose Originally?

Have a look at the buyers guide on the Register website, give me a ring and get the Duane Spencer book if you are really serious, you have chosen wisely! [;)]

Plan is to take along my back issue of GT Purely Porsche with its 912 buyers guide and have a good snoot around.

If it passes first inspection, and I think it probably will, then get someone to do a proper once-over.

What should I budget for annual running costs of a reasonable (not perfect) car?

seriously the thing that really attracts me about this car if its not been messed with, no CD player or anything that shouldn't be there..

Well most people would I'm sure say that the running costs are modest compared to any modern Porsche.
I can do a service for about £60 but that's just parts etc.

I would budget for the unforseen rather than the usual expenses, that way you will be better set when something goes bang.

The more you drive any old car the more things seem to go wrong... just the nature of old things in general I guess.

My usual annual expenses are approx:
Servicing (me) £200, more if you go to a garage obvioulsy
Miscellaneous parts/improvements £500
Insurance £250
Garage £600
Fighting fund for rust etc £500

RHD LHD blarr blarr all the same .Hellen I hope the 912 you buy is the right choice I am sure it will be.
Welcome to the fold..[;)]
