I am considering selling my 981 GT4 car has tilt carbon buckets and PCCB 30k miles PTS in Grun warranty and Full OPC service history PPF and £18k of extras. I have been considering a 991.2 S or GTS I will be an OAP next year so looking for comfort over excitement, but will I be disappointed? I was thinking £70k but appreciate the market has cooled. Any thoughts or advise has anyone owned both for comparison? Thanks Kevin

Manual GTS 4.0 and you can't go wrong .. superb tourer but more than enough excitement if you dial it up !!

Hi Kevin.

You may be better posting this in the 991 section as you may find more have made the transition from 718 to 911 there.

I have had similar thoughts on those 911`s but only from a pure driving (different) experience perspective, I`d still want a bucket seat though ... BUT ... every time I run out in the GT4 I think that life surely can`t get better than this [:)]

An option for similar performance - excitement, with a little more comfort and for far less money ... is an OG (Original) BMW M2. I have run one (DCT) now for three months and `wow` is it good. Not a sports car but a superb machine that rewards in a similar fashion to the GT4
