Member Roger Theaker has called me to give us some information about an event that R21 members may be interested in attending that is close to our region. Details are as follows:-
997 Register at AEROEXPO 2014 SYWELL AERODROME, NORTHANTS.
Alex Ayling, Show Director, at AeroExpo would be delighted if we could put on a PCGB Register display at this event on Saturday, 31 May.
I would aim to gather a posse of between 12 to 20 Porsches. We would plan to arrive in convoy and enter the airfield around 11.30 to 12 noon.
Dedicated parking will have been arranged, and all participants will be invited to the evening party to be held on the aerodrome.
There is no charge for the event.
Members can get full details about AeroExpo at www.aeroexpo.co.uk and the Club would feature in the Lifestyle Area, where I understand the Ferrari, BMW and TVR car clubs will display.
Any member interested in coming to Sywell should contact myself directly on (m) 07979-652525 or by email to turboroga@aol.com It is intended to plan rendezvous point near to Sywell, perhaps PC Silverstone, and then make a 'grand entrance' into the Show.
Best regards,
Roger Theaker RO Region 28J
