Aerokit - Colour match

Having viewed a gorgeous white 9974S with the factory aerokit, one thing i did notice was that the colour match on the aero parts wasnt exact with the rest of the car. The kit was fitted at factory, for sure, and its only done 2k miles.
Anyone else noticed this on aerokitted cars?
 
Never mind the Aerokitted parts - on some cars the standard front & rear PU's can look shades away! Worrying but apparantly it's all to do with the differences between metal and plastic base!

Yeah, sounds about right. These water based paints arent good news.
Apart from that, the car is perfect in every way. :)
 
Red is just about the worst colour - except you only see it at night under sodium streets lights, when the metamerism effect kicks in (looks different in different lighting) - its due to the formulations of the paint used between the bumper/aerokit supplier and the factory paintshop. The same applies when you have any bodywork repaired/resprayed.
