Aerokit on Turbo

Hi all...my first post (well, excluding my introduction on the newbie thread!) and it's already a daft question!

My Turbo doesn't have the Aerokit and therefore has the lower front lip, side and rear sills all in black plastic.

I'm not really interested in the full Aerokit as I like the smaller spoiler but I do like the colour coded lower sections that you get with the kit.

I've found out that I can get the genuine Porsche front lip and side sills from the Aerokit (either from the dealer or Design911) yet I can't see much (if any?) difference between these and what's fitted to my car....except for the option to paint them. I could do with the parts I already have on the car! From what I can make out, the front lip might be a bit different but the side and rear sills look identical.

Can anyone tell me if these parts (front lip, side sills and rear sills) on the Aerokit differ from whats already on my standard car or will having my current parts colour coded be exactly the same as buying the parts and painting them?

Thanks

Andrew

I specced the side skirts and the lower rear in body colour but the splitter came in black! I don't recall being given the option to have it in body colour at the time but I have since changed it! See here

The "aerokit" splitter is about 3x the price of the "standard" painted plastic job - so I went for that! I think you could have the side skirts and splitter in white but the lower black bit on the rear PU would have to be sprayed?

Thanks tscaptain - that does make a big difference having the lip painted. Indeed, your red car really looks good and could seriously tempt me away from my current fetish for white!

Looking at yours, I can see no reason to buy anything - I just need to have the existing parts painted. I thought maybe the front lip would be different on the aeropack but I just can't see it if it is?
