AFM resistances

Hi just wondering if anyone knows the exact resistances I should get from my AFM at closed and fully open?

The other thing I noticed was that the further I opened it, it did not always change the resistance (although it gave the exact same readings every time). I am wondering if this is not right. At no point did I get a loss of resistance, a jerkiness from the reading or feel any binding of the flap.

Maybe I am just worrying about nothing... [:)]

TIA

Whilst looking into a minor running issue I found these guys:

ATP Electronic Dev Ltd 01543427900, www.atpelectronics.co.uk

The quoted me £20 +£7.50 retrun postage (+VAT I guess) to take my AFM and check it against their calibration curve. Haven't done this as yet but may well do in the worst of teh winter (where the car will be probably only venturing out once a month).

Lesworth, that is great thanks. Seems that I cannot test it by simply checking the resistance with an ohms meter like I did [:'(]

Chris, thanks for that. That is handy to fall back on to if I am not convinced I can test it myself.

EDIT: Read the website that Lesworth gave us the link for and it would seem I am indeed worrying about nothing. I will however test my AFM on the car with my Voltmeter and see how it goes.
