I need to get some new plates for the S2 made up now it's on a manx reg, and I'm quite keen to retain the original AFN dealer logo (the red and black "AFN" lettering) on the new ones. I've tried the usual methods and can't find one the interweb - I think they became OPC Reading about three years ago.

Has anyone got an invoice or a letterhead they could scan in and send me as a jpeg? I can then tidy it up and give it to my plate man.

Cheers
Lee

AFN stands for Archie Frazer-Nash. The Frazer-Nash company was the first Porsche importer and woned the first dealerships. They became partly and then eventually wholly-owned by Porsche.

This will explan to people why AFN dealerships are the last places to go looking for a discount...

I have a service book with AFN stamps, but thats a different logo. A dealers window sticker will probably give you the best starting point as the plate logo was small.

I have just the thing for you! I recreated my AFN dealer plate and have the logo in vector format. I'll upload it somewhere and post the link!

Is this the logo you are looking for, it is from a box of matches from god knows when,

This is all rather sad, but my car has Clarks of Exeter plates and sticker in the rear window. I thought that they might have been original but the reg being MW, the car was a Dick Lovett one from Swindon.

Then the car was sold by the first owner to C of E and this is why the plates were changed etc.

I was thinking at one point of returning it to Dick Lovett spec so to speak with plates with their logo/name on but have now thought this is way too mad/sad and will keep the C of E plates on as that is how the car has evolved and ended up!
