Anyone know if the UK early dash lux DME supports closed loop lamba control? I know the American ones did so maybe they just didn't plug a sensor in on the UK ones?
 
I believe not. You could email FRWilk: not the most charismatic fellow on t'internet but he knows his way around a DME.

eta: itd be narrowband anyway, so of little use Id have though?
 
I thought most cars used narrowband sensor for AFR control. Really I only want it to get a better AFR while cruising. Did an experiment just now as part of my MAF converter fiddling and I could control the AFR reasonably well using the narrowband. Ill post a video of the results when youtube sorts itself out.

Id suggest a wideband lambda sensor and a gauge: far more useful and not massively expensive.
