After an early 928

Hey guys,

Hi from Cork, Ireland... [:)] looking at getting my hands on a 928. I'm driving a Mitsubishi FTO at the moment, [8D] and the 928 would be a weekend car.

Not hung up on colour, would prefer a manual but would happily go for an auto if a suitable model came up. My main restriction is it would need to be a 78/79 model (classic road tax), and it would need to have no crash damage (or very light).

A project car would be fine, as in one that needs work. Basically I'd be looking to give any model a good home, getting it back to its original glory!

Keeping an eye out here and there, ebay, 928.org.uk, and just found this site.

Do these kinds of models come up much, or is it hens teeth region?

Looking fwd to it!
Kev.

Hi Kev :)

They do come up but not often, autos will be more common as around 85% were autos. and the manuals hold a small premium on the price..so as an example a 3k auto will be around 4k if manual..

All the best Brett :)

Hey Brett, thanks for the reply!

There is hope then! [:D] I'm not in any rush with it, but at the same time hope it doesn't take too long... must suss out what insurance would be like for one of these beasties too...
