I don't think for one minute an exhaust is going to jeopardise a TT engine and I personally think if Porsche refuse to honour a warranty because of it they are merely trying to con you out of your right to warranted repair. (I know what the small print says)ORIGINAL: mike cooper
I think there is a lot of nervousness with owners not wanting to compromise warranty but I cannot see Porsche having a problem with an after market exhaust that is merely more efficient than theirs. To date we have fitted over 80 such systems to the 996 Turbo/996 GT2 out of over 300 such cars we have tuned and I do not know of one customer having had an issue.

And I think Porsches attitude to aftermarket products is just a business plan to try to force people to only buy their upgrades and nothing else. They have proved that by insisting on Porsche only tracking systems in new vehicles now.
