Aftermarket throttle body

Before you rush off and spend £146.64 on a throttle body with larger secondary butterfly - try your local breakers.
I bought one just two weeks ago - this one was on an F-reg 2.2 litre 5 cyl. Audi 100. Was charged £5.

As to K&N panel filters, if you search Rennsport site you will find that although these are claimed to be performance enhancers, other than a bit of increased induction noise there is a feeling they make virtually no difference as the standard paper filter is capable of flowing far more air than even a moderately tuned 924 engine would demand.

Perhaps a dedicated thread for performance enhancements!

I felt a K&N filter made little difference - however taking off the 'trumpet' air intake did make a small but noticeable difference.
 
I routed the trumpet through the wing, lots of nice cold air!
