Yesterday we had rain, heavy rain, torrential rain AND hail!! Cleared late afternoon though leaving a clear evening so it was roof down on the 911 and cruise to the regional meeting at The Bear. What a cool cruise it was...we had my '86 911 Super Sport Cab, Sanjay's recent acquisition and gorgeous '65 911, Roger's 996 Turbo, John's 944 Lux and Mark's 996 C4S that was actually clean!!
Against the odds there was a really good turn out with plenty of cars to look round and it was just about warm enough to be in the car park for an hour or so...
I really enjoy the pub meets each month catching up with friends I have known for years and every meeting there are new members who turn up AND return...all adds up to a great evening out
I'd like to thank Kim & Mandy and Dave for all the work they put in to R9...it really is the best it has ever been.
And I'd like to encourage all members to come along to The Bear...it really is the best thing you can do on the third Tuesday each month...
