Hi just renewed my insurance on my black 2000 Boxster S with Sureterm for the competetive price of £380. Over the phone the guy told me the car was worth £6,500!!!!!! I replied that as the car is practically concourse with only 50,000 miles it was worth £12,000. He said we could agree this valuation but the premium would rise to the £380 above. I agreed and have since received the cover note etc (Full of mistakes)
One of the forms I have been asked to fill in states that I must enclose a number of photos and an independent valuation (He failed to mention this on the phone.) Can anyone tell me how I get this independent valuation. Being very busy (like most people) this seems like hassle I could do without.
On a more relaxed note the Boxster remains brilliant......so was Goodwood!!
