*Not a commercial*!!

Folks,

For what it's worth I can recommend taking yourself down to the South of France to have an "F1" driving experience with AGS in Le Luc, near Toulon.
I was just there and it was a blast.

See : http://www.agsformule1.com/en/drive-a-formula-1.php

In brief they run a day long course, starting with Opel Lotus single seaters for familiarisation, then you get into what's near enough a real F1 car for mere mortals.
Based on cars from about 6 years ago these have Cosworth DFV engines and they claim 650 bhp in 600kg, which ain't bad.

To put the acceleration in perspective, I was lucky enough to drive the current C4S tip recently, courtesy of the local OPC. That was fast, very fast.
I also drove a Ferrari Challenge Stradale around Knockhill for a while the other day too - no slouch either.
Leaving aside the fact I have yet to drive a Porsche Turbo, none of these cars remotely compares to the acceleration of the "F1" beast. I'm totally spoilt by the experience.

Highly recommended for petrolheads.!

Andrew,

Don't like the colour scheme much! Could that lassie not have ditched the bra!

Tell me all about it at Gleneagles. The support crew would swing it for me.
