BBC ALBA

Across eight episodes, Donnie Mackay, Linda Macleod and Murray MacLeod are back for more motoring fun, driving some of the greatest, most exciting - and most expensive - cars on the market today. They take part in motor events, meet car fans and are back on the road again with the Air an Rathad rally.

Linda competes in one of the oldest motorsports in the world - the hill climb - in one of the oldest new cars you can buy, the Morgan, whilst Murray experiences the closest thing you can get to a self-driving car on public roads. Donnie, meanwhile, is hanging out with some classic American car fans.

Great - just checked and its also on iPlayer - I expect its going to be in Gaelic , so hoping there's a translation somewhere!

Watched it not too complementary about the 718 where they ..referred to it as a VW and the engine noise .
Said he preferred the 6 cy red one .TBO not a great programme .

Same old, same old, I'm sure the purists will continue to rant about it having to be a six cylinder.

It's here now and it's the future, get over it. As the young lady said on the programme; "Is the sound that important?"

And yes, I am biased.

and (says he putting on his iron helmet) is the BBC wasting money on a gaelic language "top gear"?

Is it really needed?
