Had to happen I suppose...air con worked last week, albeit not super cold.
This weekend nothing, a quick prod of the hp/lp charging connections showed no gas in the system.
So, before I wheel it up to an OPC and try and get a repair on my extended warranty, does anyone know what is covered and what's not. I know condensors seem to be a weak point, but without some diagnostics I can't confirm.
Really not that interested in forking out for the diagnostics to be carried out by the OPC only to be told that the warranty won't pay out for the remedial work.
Just mulling over wether it's worth paying £60-80 for an air con specialist to pressure test etc and confirm where the fault lies (assuming I can find a decent specialist amongst the cowboys posing as air con specialists up here)
Thoughts appreciated.
