Hi - Who do you folks use? I've used Kiwk Fit once and they appear not to have included lubricant in the gas (well, that's the symptom I have), so want someone who knows what they are doing.

Hi Mark , Re Air Con : I had my C4S in at Porsche Glasgow for a few points inc an air con service - said they servcied it and regassed it ..... but within a few days it was down again - wrote a reasonable (non hot headed ) complaint letter to Ian Easdale - servcie manager and didnt get the courtesy of a reply !..............ANYWAY onto the point - I then called Mark Henderson @ Autokool ( a mobile guy that does a lot of work on 911's) and came into our place and found a leaking condensor and pipe !! Had the condensors on his van , fitted there and then - perfect ! ( this was around 5 weeks ago ) His number is 07770 732 325 / 01324 815525 / 0141 556 5210............He can be quite hard to get as he does most of his work on buses and cant anwser if he's under a coach . Initially I ended up texting him.
Sorry for the long rant but Im fuming at OPC Glasgow as Ive got 2 911's that I get servcied there and as of this week Ive bought another .
Cheers - Barry

Have used the services of Freezbreez owner Brian Sibbald 07795 337955
Came out and pressure tested spent about 30mins and at the last minute a small leak appeared so he would not fill it ,as he said no point . Call out £30 which is refunded if work is carried out .the estimate for mine was £450 using genuine parts the front bumper has to come off the Boxster I decided to leave it mean time not a priority.

Thanks guys I'll give them a call and see how they sound.
Shame about OPC Glasgow - after their hospitality for the Grand Prix I was wondering if enough time had elapsed since my last bad experience there to give them another try, but sounds not!

Until the "old guard" staff depart it won't change....I have a long history of bad experience with them, and after a few years break I tried them again last year.....what a mistake that was!ORIGINAL: Mark Elder

Just to follow up on this: Mark Henderson came out to see me (twice because he found the problem was a leaky and worn pump and he needed to source one). Meticulous guy who knows his way around all the bits of a 993s aircon system. Is a really genuine and nice guy doing well at running his own business. And price (including fitting and recharge) was less than I could have sourced a pump for from anywhere like Design911 etc.
And air con is blowing nice and frosty - shame there's no heat wave!
Thanks for recommendation.[]

Only just saw this posting, like the others have found Mark at AutoKool to be the perfect man for the job. Have used him for many years.
