Who from the region is going to the Aircooled Day @ Duxford this Sunday ? - I' ve planned to be there, so would be happy to meet @ convenient service station on the way if there is interest. Please let me know - Thanks

I am considering going, from London W6, but taking my own car (I assume) - depends of ' er indoors. Were you suggesting car share/convoy ?

And, more to the point, what exactly is going on, on that day ? I did read details some while ago, but have sort of forgot (in which case, why am I going, you may well ask ?) but the car is getting a bit flabby, so needs some exercise. Is there a web site for the event ?

A convoy would be better for me as I may have to take my 2 year old with me so it could be a short trip!
I' m in Willesden Green and am just looking for an excuse to get the car out for the day!
I don' t really know what is involved, but I' m curious to see the Air Museum as well as a bunch of cars that are all air cooled.
Does anyone else have more specific details ?

Ref our telecon the other day, I definitely cant make it to the aircooled thingy ( which is a shame coz I would luv to see Duxford), I have to take the car to JZ' s obn Sat to get the susp lowered.

But....I will stop by on the way back and see you guys at the jumble sale

Tremendous day out. Loads of aircooled cars, bikes and planes on display. Even a (wicker) basket case - see picture taken by Steve Darnell!
