hi all,

i am of course totaly in love with my 996 turbo, but.....
when i go over 155 mph and upward it sounds like a stuka dive bomber inside! i jest not it sounds like a trumpet if blowing behind the dash!

any suggestions?

cheers robin.

Obviously only trackday drivers will answer in view of the recent 10week jail sentence for 172mph. Does 155mph equal 9 weeks?? [&:]The sound in mine does increase proportionally to the speed (and weather/road surface conditions) but with no particular step up in sound at any given speed (well not from the car.. only my wife[:(]). Could be a seal around the bonnet "giving", have you tested how tightly it closes?

hmmm i will have a look at that when i get home, though i think its more behind / inside the dash, its very annoying!!
