couldnt find a search button so apologies as I imagine this has been covered many times... battery went flat and now I have an airbag light on... Any simple way of getting rid or do I need to source a plug in Gizmo

Thanks for showing the search malarkey .... looks like a battery disconnect tomorrow if that doesn't work its find someone who can reset or diagnose the cause ....

Just a suggestion...
You can get an OBDII reader quite cheaply in amazon... then some free trial software will display the codes for you..if you want to clear it then you will have to pay for software license probably.. only suggesting if you want to try it yourself.

I have the bluetooth one but iphone will not pick it up, so I have to connect my MacLaptop. So I would buy this one above as it has wifi.

Thanks, will give the disconnect a try.... all this obd stuff is way over my head.. I assume I plug the above gizmo into the car, download an app and dependent on how much I pay for the more access I get?

yeah thats it.
On my C2 GenII the connector is at the passenger side, down past the glove box, in the centre. You just plug that guy in. It provides a wifi access point. You turn on phone/tablet/laptop and connect to the wifi hotspot.

Then you download an app.... if Android, there is a free Torque app, never used it so don't know what its like.

Ive now paid for OBD Auto Doctor for my MAC Laptop.... it reads all sensors etc...misfires... and codes... the free version will tell you code.... then you can google the code and get info...The paid version will allow you to clear codes but it didn't work for my last code... so must email their support and see.

If you do decide and need help, just let me know and I will try. Im no expert but will help anyway I can.

Ordered one.... terrified what it might throw up now..., [8|]
will see if I can connect it to my iPad....

Good stuff...
Start searching for OBD apps that will work on your Ipad. There are probably tonnes of them.

At least it gives you some idea and a chance to prepare yourself before you take it to a garage...(if you need to) that is, you will have an idea yourself before they start feeding you garbage :)
