Airbox holes

Drilling holes in the airbox is a method I have read about to improve the sound of the 993. Anyone done this? Is the sound improved significantly? Drill where on the airbox precisely?, and how many holes? Pro's and cons relating to this mod, or links to pics if poss.
 
IVE A C2 97 WITH A K&N IN A AIR BOX WITH CHROME INLET NOT SURE WHAT MAKE AS IT WAS ON WHEN I GOT THE CAR LAST YEAR
BUT MINE SOUNDS BRILL AT OVER 5K IT HAS STD EXHAUSTS ON IT
& I AM LEAVING MY AIR BOX AS IT IS !!!!
