aircon is it standard on all 1999 Boxsters??

I don't think it has ever been standard. - And it cost in 2001 (£1850).
I imagine earlier cars would be a similar price. (Later cars were cheaper when the accessory prices were lowered)

It has only been standard in the Boxster S, and then only in the UK.

I have a 1999 Boxster 2.5 and it does not have air-con so must not be a standard option!
[:(]

Helen what sort of car dealer are you
eer didn't know i was one[:-]

just looked up the spec order on my 2000 boxster 2.7 Air con cost me £1,574.47p.

but i thought i had read that in the later models it was a standard no cost option or is that just on the S.

rats i shall have to hunt out my brouchures now and look it up[:'(]

you don't have to have it if its an option.[8|]

True,

And I suppose that living in Scotland (so did the original owner) may mean that air-con is no use but I can't imagine anyone refusing to have something for nothing!

Cheers,

Tim

or is that just on the S

Just on the S. And it is not an option, in the UK it is standard fitment.

However in other countries it is an option, and charged for.
This explained part of the UK price differential when it was launched.
