Can someone enlighten me as to the differences between a PA1000 system and a PA2000. On my recent 993 it had a PA2000 system with sensors on the pillars, and tiny flashing red light on the centre console, but the PA1000 seems to have either no sensors or they are well hidden.

Thanks chaps. Can always rely on Sundeep and Maurice for quick helpful replies. Still curious where the sensors are, and if there is a flashing red LED somewhere as a deterant when locked. So if anyone could elaborate......
Talking of insurance Maurice, Adrian Flux couldn't quote me a premium for insuring a 993 C2S or 993 S manual, as they insist that they are all automatics according to their computer! Bizarre. Elsewhere I suppose.
Bit like the story of the chap who went into his bank and found his account closed due to them having him down as recently deceased. 'So who do you beleive?' he asked, 'the computer or me standing here?'. 'Why the computer of course' was the reply.
