I have recently had to replace the window regulator in my driver's side door.
The instructions that I followed in removing the door panel, etc., recommended disconnecting the -ve terminal on the battery.
I did this, but my alarm started to sound.
I let it sound for a while, and it would stop for short periods before resuming to souund.
Therefore, I thought s*d this, reconnected the terminal and proceeded to carry out the work, carefully (& successfully) disconnecting / reconnecting the airbag in the door.
Does anyone know why my alarm continued to sound when the battery was disconnected (I might have assumed it would go off like this, until I read the instructions which recommended I disconnect the battery)...?
