MY 91 C4 is running on a P1000 but there is no fob and i am told that the internal motion detectors are not working. So, assuming that the opportunist does not want to open any doors (ie gain access through window) the alarm will not sound. Just wondering whether i should replace the whole system or get the original unit working again by getting new parts from the OEM alarm supplier?
