Ha sanyone had the same problem as we have had alarm goes of it is a known problem they tell us they now have a fix for I have owned the car for 3 months but it has been in the garage for 10 weeks waiting on fix??
 
Yes this is a known problem.
I believe replacement parts are required and there's been a delay in sourcing them.
Would suggest you contact your PC again now to find out the latest situation.

Had macan since april have had to double clip alarm,it turns interior alarm alert off, at present car booked for 11/08/14 ,also problem drivers door hitting bonnet,both problems will be resolved,drove car to le mans classic and to Switzerland great all round drive.
