Alarming Scenario!

I'm sure I'm going to have problems with my factory alarm. When I insert the immobiliser fob the system constantly beeps, however, when I remove it, I get the three beep tone allowing me to start the car. There is a clicking from behind the dash which is sporadic and seems to be triggered by the sensors. The alarm works and the fob still opens the doors etc.

I realise this is a public forum but has anyone experienced similar symptoms? I'm sure I've seen detals of the supplier on here previously......are they easy to fit? PM your replies if they give to much away[8|]
