Just had the motorsound intake and exhaust tips fitted to my 1996 C4S by an OPC.
The problem is the tips (squared-off type) don't line up with one another... one sticks out noticeably more than the other.
To be fair to the the OPC I didn't give the lad enough time as the car had to be taken elsewhere before he could spend any more time on it.
He did mention that to line them up properly a small amount of fabrication would be needed as one of the pipes was too short, aparently not uncommon?
I've also read that the amount of movement offered is minimal when fitting these tips, with only a few mm of play.
Has anyone else had this problem and know's of a simple cure? The car is booked in to my local OPC (different to the one mentioned above) for a few things including lining these up - I was hoping to get some background on this as I fear any possible fabrication requirement could be expensive or rejected as 'not something we could help with'.
