Hi all,
been out on the route today, some of it is underwater[:(] hope it stops raining soon. Anyway here is some more info.
The following is available at the start;
Shell petrol, coffe, tea etc. Little Chef, Burger King and if anybody wants it there is also a Travel Lodge.
Car parking at Rutland Water is £1 per car for an hour, it is pay and display so bring your £1 coins!
There are a couple of petrol stations on the route (not supermarkets!!![:D])
There is Sunday Lunch available at the finish venue (country pub). 1 course £9.95, 2 courses £12.95, 3 courses £15.95
Childrens prices are £3.00 cheaper. I will try and have a menu for the day available at the start. Basically there is a choice of 3 starters, 5-6 mains,(1 vegetarian option) and a couple of desserts. I can confirm the number of eaters at the start and phone the pub to let them know.

I have reached a point where I need to know roughly how many cars are likely to attend. I also need to know how many people will like to take lunch, so I can let the pub know and no one will go hungry.
I guess that some people will drop out last minute and maybe some will turn up unexpected, neither of which is a problem.
If I have some idea on approx numbers I can manage the rest.
PLEASE EMAIL ME at rj@rikki-saker.com
Hope to see you at the next region 10 meeting where I can hopefully answer an questions[8|]
regards RIKKI
