maybe i shouldn't have posted this it seems to have struck you all dumb. im impressed that all the porsches on the web site that those pictures came from. not one shows any damage to the cockpit area....think that says alot.

I remember seeing a white Boxster with white wheels for sale at Dick Lovett in Bristol about 18 months ago. I think it was up for £21,995 (cheap at the time) and took ages to shift!

Not a popular colour in the UK, but I saw quite a few in the US in white

White is also very popular in Dubai (UAE). It's really weird to see Ferraris, Lambos, , Rollers and Porsches in white. It's the colour of choice there - probably due to the heat.

The same in South Africa.

My white boxster with red leather interior is a fantastic looking car and much admired on its two trips around Europe in 2003 and 2004. Arrived back without a mark not one stone chip, parking ticket or speeding ticket! Never shows the dirt unlike my ocean blue boxster I had before this one.

did think of ordering the GT3 in white but was put off bu the fact that nearly all the motorsport ones are baseed on white. so im sticking with Black.. which is just as bad at showing the dirt.[]

I just can't get used to the idea of a Boxster in white. Obviously a personal flaw but I just don't find them aesthetically pleasing.

After saying that i'm one of the minions who bought a silver one! [X(]

John,

Please, please let us see a picture of your white Boxster. I have never seen one and I am sure it looks great, really.[&:]

No my white boxster was bought from JCT600 in Leeds in January 2002 - drove down to the factory at Stuttgart, Switzerland, French Riviera, Costa Blanca, central Spain back via Bilbao - Sept/Oct 2002 - repeated the trip but only Belgium, France and Spain in 2003. A dream to drive no problems with stone chips, vandalism - nothing but admiration from everyone - especially when checking in at a hotel. Park in front please! My wife's new MG ZR was vandalised yesterday, passenger window broken and radio/cd smashed in a car park in our town centre - bang goes her no claims. Lucky the boxster was in the garage because of the snow and salt.
