Alloy Pedals

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has fitted any aftermarket alloy pedels to their 996?

If you have I would be very interested to hear your feedback on the pedals themselves, how easy they were to install, where you obtained them from and any other useful information you feel appropriate.

Honda had them fitted as standard on a S2000 I had years ago and I am currently considering the following items from ebay:

Many thanks

Steve

Did you change the pedals Steve.

I'm thinking of doing this at the moment and am looking for advice.

Those RUF ones look spot on Kish, they don;t show prices though! Any idea roughly?

Thanks

fitted Ruf pedals myself - quite easy to do - not cheap at around £200. looks a lot better than standard and now easier to heal and toe.

suggest buy direct from ruf in germany.

I like the RUF ones but £200 is a bit more than I'd pay for these.

The ones Richard linked to appear to be selling for £90 and they say they'll cut down the foot rest so that it fits.

I am quite tempted now!

Fitted a set of these to a 986, seem to be good quality and were easy to install the footrest being LHD was a bit of a pain, but if they are preapred to alter that for you and at that price should be worth a look.

I like your RUF ones but everything on my car is Techart so may look a bit strange

Ive spied these

But I would have to do without the footrest as they only do LHD

Cheers guys for pointing me in the right direction.
I like the comments ref the "can adapt the footrest to RHD" Ive ot a few mates that work with metal so they may have a task on their hands.
But I do fancy the above from the States dont know what it is about them but Im temped.
I will let you know how I get on

Cheers again Dougie

Got a nice set like the ones in photo fron Prestige parts kpporsche via E-bay. Only cost about £4o. Looks great on my 996.

I bought a set of the pedals and took the opportunity to buy a set of the silver dial surrounds which I;ve wanted for ages.

Did a bit of a deal and they cut down the foot rest to fit.

They arrived yesterday and look good - just need to fit them now!
