Alloy refurb??

Hi guys,

Any recommendations on a good, well priced company for alloy refurb?

Got the 18" turbo alloys and they aren't too bad.... some bubbling and just need tidying up. Any tips on what I should be looking to get done as I've never had a refurb before?

Cheers,

Ajonesy

On a similar point, the outside of my Cup alloys have been refurb'd recently but the inside wasn't and the paint is coming off. Anyone know if I can just get the insides done?

Specialised Paintwork in Reading (behind Porsche Reading) have done a good job in the past for me. They give a 10% club discount as well.

I was planning to take my Targa wheels to them next month as they're in my area, good to have a positive recommendation. I'll report back when they're done.

David.

David,

They were really good guys to deal with, and I've seen other people post good reports on PH.

I just dropped my car off. They charge a bit extra for removing/refitting tyres but it was the easiest option for me.

Kevin Bland at Wicked Wheels in Guildford did mine beautifully
01483 302227 or wicked wheels .co.uk

Thanks Maurice,

No, I haven't discussed it with them as yet, planning to visit one day to see the operation. Is there anything I should look out for? They claim to do split rims and have pictures of several split rims including the targas.

Regards,

David.
