Alloy refurb

Anyone had any alloy refurbs done locally? I've used SEM in Sunderland historically but not required any work for a long time. Any suggestions appreciated.

I've used RS Alloys in Hartlepool to refurb a set of wheels on Ali's TT and I'll be getting them to do the ones from my A6 in the next few weeks.

I have used Anthony at Paint Right Car Care Ltd, South Shields for many years. They collect making life easy.

Does any member know if DAB can be fitted without external aerial. i.e. Something fitted into existing unit. Car has Bose with sat nav.

Thanks very much. I expected that was the case. More than happy with unit I have. I listen to Talk Sport a lot and it's horrible on MW.

Ref wheel refurb, the two guys I have used in the past and have done a great job for me are, Mark at Wheelnut on Whickham Ind Est just along from my garage or Tony at Alloyfix in Westerhope not the cheapest but both do a really good job.

As for DAB radio the guys at Autosounds on Scotswood rd always offer fantastic advice and have fitted radios for me in the past both with internal aerials. I found no problems with reception may be worth a call. Deb had a Pure Highway in her old car which was adequate, with an aerial stuck to the internal glass - you simply tune your existing FM radio to it, no fitting needed.

Thank you everyone for your help and advice. much appreciated and shows the value of the forum.
Ian.

Locally (Cheshire/Manchester) the go to company seems tp be The Alloy Wheel Specialist. They have outlets all over the country and all seem to be well equipped
