Alloy Wheel Refurb Help - Edinburgh

Hello, I'm a newbie to this forum and have my first question. Can anyone recommend an alloy wheel refurb company in Edinburgh? I just need my 18" Turbo hollowspoke wheels repainted.

Thanks in advance

I had wheels powdercoated by Hendersons Metal Cleaning Services at Jockslodge a few years ago. Great 'tyres off' job at about £30 a wheel.

There's a place opposite Murrayfield Stadium at Roseburn.......sorry can't remember the name but know they have a
very good reputation for doing a great job.

Thanks Kim, I have dropped off my wheels at JRM (formerly MRM) Coachmorks for repainting. My wheels were in pretty good condition.

Now I just need to find a new pair of Conti Sport2s to fit on the rear of my C4S.

You may find this difficult as Continental now do Sport 3 I had the same problem this year and had to buy 4 new tyres for the Boxster as they no longer made the Sport 2
But try Kwik Fix they did a national search and came up with one in Livingston and found another one at Elite Tyres down south but the one they had was past its sell by date ie produced in 8/05 so watch out if you locate any ask for the date the tyre was produced

Wheels are back from JRMs and they have done a perfect job. I asked for the insides to be painted as well which cost a bit extra but it will make cleaning a lot easier. The paint job matches my wheel centres too.

I have decided to lump for Pirelli PZero Rosso N5s for the rear...need the car for the bank holiday wk end! The Pirellis are a bit cheaper than the other recommended tyres but I expect I'll need to replace them on an annual basis based on my experience of using them on my previous car. I predict about 6k miles, any more and I'll be delighted!

I was waiting for someone to ask for photos...sadly my OTH has taken the camera away on hols so no photos at the mo. I'm not sure my cameraphone is any good...will have a go tomorrow [:D]

Photos would be cool! If it's not being toooooo nosey, what did they charge you?? I want mine painted
at the end of the year when the car goes into hibernation!!

I used a company called Wicked Wheels to get mine painted. I've got an Atlas Grey Boxster S with Carrera Sport wheels and got them colour coded to the car. Once I work out how to attatch some pics [:)] I'll show you what I've done.

Was it Alan Mc Neish who did the work have used him in the past and always been satisfied with his work .has now a couple on vans on the road .

Here are a couple of photos as requested. I did consider colour coding the wheels but didn't want to invalidate the OPC Warranty.

No problemo Zhan.

I was inspired some Aston Martin wheels which are painted the same inside and out and it's a good touch IMO.
