Hi,

I have just had my rear alloys refurbed by Wheels Direct and they have made an excellent job I would callenge anyone to tell the difference between the refurb ones & new ones[:)] They are a mobile company the numbers are below:

07968 194 246
07977 117 736

£40.00+vat per wheel

Please mention me if you use them

Pete - That really does sound very reasonable. Especially since they came to you.

Are they able to correct minor rim damage as well do you know? One of the wheels on my wifes car suffered when it had an arguement with a seriously deep pot-hole recently!

Hi Richard,

I am not sure if they can do repairs like that best to give them a call on either of those mobile numbers I no that they do a lot of work/repairs for main dealers so perhaps they can help. Please remember to mention me if you call them

Good Luck

Pete - Thanks for the response. I've printed out your post and passed it on [ To Her ]. It's her decision. The damage is superficial and the Type Specialiast say's it's not dangerous in any way. Tried a claim off of the Council, but they weren't having it!

Any chance of a picture of one of your refurbished wheels?

Pete - What can I say except ...................... it looks like new. So many individuals don't seem to bother with their wheels & tyres. Wash the car but ignore the wheels!

I've taken the liberty of rotating the centre. Apparently, ideally, the apex of the crest should point toward the valve. [ You may have followed my thread - 'Wheel Centres ] I'll leave you to do the others!

Pete,

Would you ask them the paint code for the colour used on your wheels please.

Thanks,
