Alloy Wheel Refurbishment

Does anyone have any recomendations/experience of companies that refurbish alloy wheels in the South East (Surrey ideally)? Specifically looking for a good company to repair kerb damage. I would like to blame the damage on my wife, but I am the guilty party, kerbing both rear wheels in the first week of ownership!

Elite in Reading http://www.elitewheels.co.uk/refurb.cfm did a lovely job on my old cup 1' s for £245 for all 4 all in inc rebalancing and valves.
This was cosmetic not damage though.

I enquired about having my Sports Design wheels refurbished a little while ago. In the end I changed the car and didn' t need the service. Below is the e-mail received from Jasmine - hope this helps ..

" We can refurbish the Sport Design wheels and have been doing since 1997. The outer rim is actually aluminium which is machined and lacquered. Prices are as follows: -

1 ... Outer edge refurbishment = £80.00 + VAT per wheel.
2 ... Outer edge refurbishment inc. weld (for badly scuffed wheels) = £110.00 + VAT per wheel.
3 ... Refurbishment of centre piece of wheel = £60.00 + VAT per wheel.

Depending on our wheel stocks at the time, we can maybe do this on an exchange basis i.e. we send you a set of refurbished wheels. You change over your tyres and send your wheels back to me.

If you require any further information or wish to proceed with above, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best regards

AFN Reading (now called Porsche Centre Reading) did my rear nearside for just under £100 - it was a good job even though they said the first attempt wasn' t good enough and re-did it...

I suspect any OPC will offer a similar service
