Almost all Targa are Tiptronic?

Colleague looking to replace his (70K miles, LHD) SC targa with a 993 targa in the not too distant future.

He's struggling to find a manual boxed 993 Targa ~ everything out there seems to be Tip.

Is a manual Targa a rare commodity? [&:]
 
Most do seem to be Tiptronics. It took me a while to find my manual Targa. I have had a few dealers ask me to let them know when I sell it because of this reason.

As a note my 993 Targa will be for sale in about 4 to 6 weeks.

First I have to get a ding fixed on the passenger door (bl**dy car parks), have it serviced, get it MOTed and taxed and finally remove the private plate.

It's a 1996 (N) RHD manual in Iris Blue with Grey interior that is unmodified. 48K miles one owner before me (I have had it just over two years). I'll be putting it in PP.

I'm selling it because I have bought a 2.4E race car and I cannot justify keeping both a 993 Targa and a 993 Coupe (my next track car???) as well. Your friend is welcome to contact me at ian_uk52@hotmail.com if he is potentially interested and wants more detail.
