Alternative roof seal

Just wondered if anyones used this type of roof seal;

1/4 the price of the porsche one but it fits the car not the roof. Feedback for the guy is good.

My concern is long term use will it still do the job, as Ebay feedback is so short-term (eg snake oil seller has really good feedback for just delivering the crap on time)
 
That looks like a larger seal that fits on the roof of the car, It may create a more snug fit but the seal that fits around the sunroof panel will still be needed.

This replaces the car-side beading - and is double the price you'd pay from Forrestfine for example CLICK

As per PJS - the larger seal which goes round the sunroof panel is still required.
 
thanks for clearing that up the advert is somewhat misleading

60 quid for a rubber ring seems like robbery considering i got an entire sunroof for a different car for that money.
