Alternative wheel colours?

I'm considering having my set of Cup 3 17" wheels refurbed and put back on the car as the 18s I'm on at the moment are a bit harsh for every day driving.

My car is in Titanium silver (or is that Sapphire? ashamed to say I'm not sure[&:]). Whilst I have the chance I thought I'd consider a change of colour.
Does anyone have ideas on a wheel colour other than the standard silver?

Are there any Photoshop experts on here?

I vote any colour other than silver [;)]

I think a light graphite would look good. I've also seen a few very dark bronze coloured wheels on Lamborghini's which might look great on your car. It would probably help to see a larger picture of your car again if you've got one, and it'd also help those who are good with photoshop too.

I cannot now find the pics of the bronze wheels I saw, but they were quite a lot darker than the ones James linked to on that 964 (which I like, although maybe not on a red car so much). I'll keep looking!

Black is the new black [:)]

I love Cup1's on 944's and Rich - they look absolutely fabulous [8D]

The only improvement you could make would be to wrap them in something other than Kumho's. Are they KU31's?

I agree, those cup 1's are lush on Rich's car as are those Bronze wheels on the red 964. I like the way the Bronze colour is quite subtle. I think if it was any heavier then it would ruin the effect and just look tacky.

I think as a general rule Silvery colour cars including metallic silvery blue cars suit matching coloured wheels as with Rich's car. I'm not so sure that red wheels on a red car looks as good.

I also really like the black wheels on Pauls car. I've seen matt black cup 1's on Rennlist which I also think looked fabulous.

Thank I no longer have the S2 - The tyres were Kumho 712's and I have to say they weren't bad.

Currently have the original 16 inch forged D90 looking wheels on my turbo.

Mmmm, have to agree that given your car's colour bronze would be a stunning choice and set your car off nicely IMHO.
