Alu dial trims

Fitted to my cab a couple of weeks ago. I like them with the black dials (only seen them with silver before and I don't like coloured dials on 944's because of the cut outs for the warning lights).

Super glue!

You need to remove the instruments, then take the clocks off the back to leave the bit with the 'glass'. The rings then squeeze through the holes but they don't clip on so i glued them. It's not visible though.

They're from www.tachoringe.de BTW.

Barsteward, stop it i have only got so much i can spend every month on the car, yet another thing to add to the list!!

I see from the website link and your pic, that this is designed for the S2 only, presumably as they don't make a ring small enough for the boooooost gauge.

Nah, they'd fit a turbo as well, I've just been out for a look at mine - they wouldn't trim the edge of the boost gauge (there's no edge there to trim), but the ring wouldn't foul the boost needle.

Hmmm, might be worth a punt then.
How long did you wait for delivery and is the actual job easy enough to do? [&:]

About an hour to fit. Checking my email I ordered on 23rd Dec (probably evening of 22nd) and paid with PayPal. They arrived before New Year IIRC.

£30-odd I think. Too much really, but they are very nice. I might have another set for my Turbo yet.

Martyn the 944 reg sec was trying to organise a group buy - I only found out after I bought mine.

Nice rings [:)]

I'd forgotten your blue dash and wheel were the lighter blue. It looks much nicer than my darker blue

Very Nice!

I've been pondering having my instrument pod out to fit a shift light so, if I do get round to it, I think a set of rings could be the order of the day.
