took the old girl to the MOT Sat morning and expected evrything to be fine. The previous Sat I had asked the MOT station to stick it up on the ramp to check some slight slack in the steering before committing to an expensive MOT.
The spanner man said nothing wrong so should be ok.

Yesterday guess what ? he found the cause of the knocking its the top UJ on the steering shaft. dayum.[]

Then the bloomin rear fogs wouldn't work either so it was a fail

I just went out to check the fog lights and guess what.? you have to switch on the front fogs before the rear fogs will work !.....................neither of of knew that so I'm hoping when I go back tomorrow morning he will give me a pass for the fog lights and a warning on the steering u/j seeing as he missed it last w/e and it cost me £30.00 ramp time .

Nick, I do know a good place that does MOT's by post, and they are branching out into on-line MOT's as well now. Send 'em a picture (or a link to one), and the old MOT, and they'll send you a new one by return of post.

PM me for the details ...
