I have noticed that the AM reception on my 997 is pretty poor. Has anyone else noticed this and is it common with the car? I like to listen to Radio 5 Live and while driving through central London today it was basically unlistenable. All my other cars weren't great under bridges or tunnels but were fine in built up areas. The 997 seems to be much worse than the rest. Anyone else with the same problem?
 
The few times I've listened to AM its been as good as I expected, certainly no worse than my other vehicles

I think this must be a common complaint, as Porsche offer a no cost option of a roof antenna specifically for better AM reception.
 
It's a pity there's no longwave as I can't listen to Test Match Special. [:eek:][:eek:]
All Pioneer kit has it tacked onto the end of the AM band so it CAN be provided quite easily. Then again, I suppose the Germans don't play cricket!!! [X(]
