AM reception poor on the CDR23

I really cant get any decent reception on AM on my CDR 23

FM is ok but AM sucks

Anyone got any ideas on the problem and possible fixes???

yes, that is the answer

probably an earthing issue which may be unsolveable - AM and cars are not well suited

As a fellow Targa owner(not many of us) Id would of expectes a slightly less condiscending answer and a more constructive view on the issues a fellow member may have on his traditional AM issues. 5 Live, talk sport, the Ashes on Radio 4 are all effected by this issue so sorry for my Americanisim of "It Sucks". it's the only thing I could think of the other day whilst at 45 degrees sailing to Cherbourg.

Any body else got any sensible ideas on the AM problem?

I would check all the connections & possible try running a seperate Earth to the raoi direct from the battery, hope this is of some help.
