Amazing Ventilation

Hi all, after a really hot weekend I just thought I'd remark on my cars tremendous ventilation system! The Air-con gets pretty cool but I can't find a driving position where I can safely get my face anywhere near the vents on the dash!!!! Somehow just adds to the car's character me thinks!
 
I can just about get nice cool air on my left elbow and right hand. Best thing I have found is shut all the windows and hit the "max" button.
