Hi Des,

Some announcements for you:

* the Olympics will be taking place in London this year
* the Hammersmith flyover is still shut...but will miraculously make a full recovery in time for the above.

Or you could check out the official announcement of the R20 RO change on page(s) 12 and 77 of your January Porsche Post. [;)]

Kish has done the handover and we have the keys to R20 including the email redirect, forum access and more. We have written our first Porsche Post regional article (watch out for the Feb PP).
 
Nicky boy, sorry but this is not good enough, we need an official ceremony (I'll bring the sword!) to anoint you [:D].

And obviously a celebratory party there after [8D]
 
I think we'll have the full ceremonial induction at the next Fat Boys convention? I feel a naughty throne in the design stages.... Maybe even a commemorative crest decal .....

Next Fat boys will have low numbers as most will be at OPC in Redaing I beleieve.............

Hi Rodders,
I hope you're well! Never left my love for Porsche, and my GTS is a great great 911. Someone pointed me to this thread, so I thought it would be remiss to not congratulate Nick and all other London Porsche-fans on their relief from the Dark Ages. Based on a couple of threads I'm reading in the R20 forum, it appears my hypothesis years ago about certain individual's aspirations was not as incorrect as people scorned at the time. Shame no one believed me then. Anyway, I'm always around London (and lots of other car events). Give me a call on 07845 911911 if you ever want to meet up for a beer or two!

LOL Rick! I tell you the GTS is a stunning machine with plenty of poke (more than the Manthey!) AND HEATED SEATS [:)]
But I did see the Manthey this past weekend too in resplendent white - great to see it still being cared for by the owner.
