An Inspector Calls...

I am currently considering buying a 2.7 LUX in the Reading area but as a novice I think a professional inspection may be needed.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to who to choose, and how much it will cost?...I accepy fully that it will be money well spent if it saves me buying a pile of woe
Any advice will be gratefully received
Also, any particular points on the 2.7 to check when I turn up on the mans drive other than the normal
